Camillo Sabello found out about Kettlebell Kitchen (KBK) when his previous boss joined the company.
“My previous boss started working for Kettlebell Kitchen and wanted me to come on board to help organize the kitchen and prepare new recipes,” he said.
Sabello is the director of research and development at KBK. He logs all the company’s recipes and maintains the recipe library. Below, he shares more about KBK, what the company does and why gym owners should pay attention.
Camillo Sabello: It’s very creative to design meals and bring them together, although I have to deal with lots of restrictions.
For example, I have to work with gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, no refined sugars or sweetness, and no refined oils.
It’s challenging making meals with all of the above restrictions. KBK meals are so filling and delicious.
CS: We start you off with a nutritional consultation. We ask what are your goals. Our meals are fully prepared, all you have to do is heat the meals. We place you on a meal plan based on your goals.
CS: Working as a chef, my schedule is different every day. I know when I eat KBK meals that I’m eating clean. Many other meal companies contain lots more sodium, fat, and carbs in their meals. Some of them also contain preservatives and additives.
CS: KBK has low-carb meals, Keto, vegetarian, and athlete meals.
We have meals to fit everyone’s goals, whether you’re trying to lose weight, burn fat, gain muscle, detox with some vegetarian meals, or you just want to eat healthy and clean. We also have meals that are lower in sodium.
Working for KBK has been fulfilling by helping people change their lives through food. People have lost weight, gained muscle, and reached their health and fitness goals by eating our meals.
