Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

All around the nation, Boxes are hosting holiday parties, Christmas WODs and charity events this time of year. We’ve compiled a short list of what a few Affiliates are up to this holiday season.

Here’s what other gyms are doing in order to celebrate with members and staff:

Celebration CrossFit’s Holiday Party

The details are below, as found on their event page:

“Wear your favorite ugly sweater and come ready to have a fun time. Little Greek will be catering this year’s Holiday Party. Please feel free to bring your significant others and kids — reserve a ticket for each attendee in your party. This will allow us to order the proper amount of catering. We will have gingerbread house and Christmas cookie decorating stations. BYOB; we will have non-alcoholic drinks provided.”

CrossFit Breaking Barbells’ Holiday Party

The gym is hosting a party on December 20. The details are below, as found on their event page:

  • There is a workout Friday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. followed by a holiday party at 7 p.m.
  • Food is catered, but members can bring desserts if desired.
  • There will be a gift exchange game, anyone can participate by purchasing a gift valued at $25 or less. Also, apparently there is an annual dice game to be played.
  • All are welcome, but RSVP is encouraged to help with catering numbers.
  • The dress code is holiday casual.

CrossFit LoLo Christmas Party 2019

On December 13, CrossFit LoLo hosted a holiday gathering. The goal was to give members, family and friends “time this holiday season to look after yourself — and help out a good cause at the same time.”

Details included:

  1. Free workouts for all levels from 5 to 6 p.m. Members, bring your friends.
  2. Pot-luck style food to follow. Everyone is encouraged to bring a shareable dish.
  3. Photobooth with keepsake photos — done by CrossFit LoLo co-owner Kelsey Goodwin.
  4. Revenge fundraiser:
    • Coaches wore skintight elf costumes, ready to do the members’ bidding.
    • Those who attended could pay for grueling workout movements and make the Coaches suffer.
    • Or, members could purchase balls for the dunk tank and get the Coaches icy.
    • All donators were entered to win a free one-month membership at CrossFit LoLo.

It’s never too early to be planning for Christmas next year!
