How SFH Upped CrossFit South Bay’s Retail Game


Forrest Jung, the owner of CrossFit South Bay, shares his experience in partnering with SFH at his Box in Hermosa Beach, California:

BP: Why did you partner with SFH?

FJ: Initially the partnership was more on a personal level. Back in 2010 I met Patricia Leighton at the SoCal Regionals held at UCLA. We had some mutual friends. I agreed to try SFH and immediately loved it. Patricia was genuine and honest with me and that weighed heavily on my decision to make SFH the first product we sold. BP: What have been the benefits of the partnership to your business?

Having our athletes understand the role and timing of supplementation has greatly increased their results which again leads to a happy membership base. BP: Is there anything about working with SFH that has pleasantly surprised you?

FJ: In all the years of carrying SFH, we had a single bag taste a little funky. It was no big deal as we just swapped the bag out with a good one. I let our rep know and he showed up the next day with a new bag and a box full of samples to give out to our members. Their customer service is excellent and extremely speedy. That gesture alone gave me even more confidence in their brand. Also the ease of doing business with them has been extremely surprising.
